The Long Ridge School is not a special needs school and is unable to provide individualized educational programs for students with severe physical, cognitive or mental disabilities. The School does comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and will make reasonable accommodations to known disabilities of a student to assist the student in meeting the academic and behavioral performance standards of the School. Parents of students needing such accommodations should advise the Head of School, and the School will undertake an interactive process, involving the student’s parents, health care providers, and school faculty and staff to determine appropriate accommodations. Such accommodations may include restructuring work assignments and modifying the testing environment. No accommodation shall fundamentally alter the School’s educational program, and all students, regardless of disability, will be held to the Schools standards for academic achievement and personal conduct.
