About Us

The Long Ridge School is an independent, co-educational nursery and elementary school located on 14 woodland acres in North Stamford, Connecticut. The School enrolls children two years old through grade five, drawn from many local Connecticut and New York towns.

Today is the last day of our Long Ridge Read-a-Thon, and we are 64% of the way to reaching our $10K fundraising total.Over the last two weeks, The Long Ridge School celebrated reading while raising money for our school. At The Long Ridge School, we foster and nurture a love of reading as reading skills are essential to educational success.During this time, students and staff have been recording the minutes they read, whether at school or at home, individually or in a group. All reading counts! Our readers have also been asked to solicit donations to support, encourage, and celebrate their efforts while fundraising for our school. Today is the last day of our Long Ridge Read-a-Thon, and we are 64% of the way to reaching our $10K fundraising total.

The Free Walk-up Vaccination Clinic is back at The Long Ridge School
Wednesday, December 8
3 pm–5 pm

The free vaccination clinic will be returning to The Long Ridge School, 478 Erskine Road, Stamford CT, providing FREE COVID-19 vaccinations—walk-ins welcome, no appointment required.

Please bring a health insurance card and photo ID if you have them, but it is not necessary to have insurance or ID to receive the vaccine. No one will be turned away for lack of insurance or ID.

The vaccine clinic is open to the public so please tell your friends, family, and neighbors. All are welcome, however, the vaccines provided are only for 5–11 year olds. No adult vaccines will be available.
