Covid-19 Updates & Resources
The health, safety and wellbeing of our students, families and staff are top priorities for us at The Long Ridge School. We are actively monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and are taking proactive and prudent measures to protect all members of our community. We continue to follow the guidance provided by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health, the CDC and other health officials.
LRS Spring Break until March 30
The Long Ridge School is on Spring Break until March 30th. All buildings, fields and the playground will remain closed during that time.
Distance Learning Plans Start March 30
School will resume Monday, March 30 for our Beginners through grade 5 students remotely. This experience will vary depending on the age of your child. You will hear from your child’s/children’s teachers with specific plans for each grade level by Friday, March 27. Necessary materials will be sent home if applicable.
School Activities and Events
We have cancelled the following school activities and events:
March 12 – All-School Performance (hoping to reschedule for a later date)
April 17 – Parent Cocktail Party and LRS Experience Mobile Auction Kick-Off
April 18 – Robotics Competition
May 8 – Grandparents and Special Friends Day
May 12-13 – Boston Overnight Trip for 4-5
